Madra ltd Celinac was founded in 2002, as a company that was initially engaged in the wholesale of children’s footwear CICIBAN. Since 2006, the company has hired 50 new workers and starts production capacities in Celinac where performed interior finishing, tailoring, sewing and gluing. The company currently produces the entire contingent of uppers for AFIT Slovenia, owner of the Ciciban brand, and due to which resulted in the expansion of production facilities, achieved energy independence and efficiency, and procured additional equipment. All production is exported to the EU.
With the grant support of the EU4BusinessRecovery project, modern equipment will be procured to improve the production process, digitize production and train workers. The financial part of the grant for the purchase of equipment amounts to 100,000 KM, while the company will also receive technical assistance for the successful implementation of the entire project.
