The company, ARGO VAR, is one of the winners of the Swedish development agency (SIDA) grant funds, which is awarded to innovative companies in BiH through the C2C program.
Donor support, in the amount of EUR 30 thousand, will be used for the implementation of the DIY HOME production project – do-it-yourself prefabricated houses that are intended for export and the domestic market.
The uniqueness of “DIY HOME” is that users can assemble this house by following the instructions and using a simple tool, such as assembling a table or chest of drawers purchased in the IKEA store, ie they do not have to hire an expensive operation. Furthermore, the uniqueness of this product is that in the attached segments of the house installations (electricity, water) have already been installed and no subsequent introduction of installations and additional works is required. Once assembled, the house can be disassembled again and transported to a new location, so DIY HOME has all the good features of a fixed house as well as a mobile house. It is possible to install solar panels on the DIY HOME roof, which makes it energy independent and, depending on the number of panels, it can ecologically produce electricity for its own needs and the needs of external devices.
