Public call for granting incentives for direct investments in 2021

The Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska announced on April 21, 2021 call for direct investment incentives in 2021.

Grant funds in the amount of 4 million BAM were provided from the compensation fund of the Republic of Srpska and the World Bank – International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as a component of two projects for recovery and support to economic entities.

The call is open until June 7, 2021 and the right to participate have all companies and entrepreneurs from the Republic of Srpska, who have 5 or more employees, have no debts for taxes and contributions, are not in bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings and whose primary activity codes are classified from class 13 to class 34.

The minimum value of the project is 50 thousand BAM. Grant amounts can be up to 30% of direct investments, ie a maximum of 50 thousand BAM for projects worth up to 250 thousand BAM and a maximum of 100 thousand BAM for projects larger than 250 thousand BAM. New projects or investments made from January 1, 2021 may be subject to support for this call.

The subject of procurement cannot be equipment older than 12 years.

Of the total amount of funds, at least 25% of funds are approved and allocated to economic entities that employ up to 50 workers or that have generated business income in 2020 up to 3 million BAM.
