Business entities from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sweden can apply for grants from the Challenge Fund for the sixth time. The public call will be open through 12 February 2021.
The available fund for this call is around 420.000 EUR. The funds are intended for business entities with innovative ideas, products or services that can lead to a reduction in unemployment, increase competitiveness and sustainable socio-economic development in BiH.
For the potential users in the category of start-ups, registered for at least six months, the maximum grant amount of EUR 10.000 is envisaged. Users from the MSME category up to 250 employees, who perform activities for more than two years, can count on support in a maximum amount of up to 30.000 euros. Applicants must provide minimum own participation of 50% of the total value of the proposed project. Realization can not be shorter than 3 months neither longer than 6 months.
All applications received will be evaluated in accordance with the three basic criteria – innovation, feasibility and sustainability of business ideas and social benefits. In the evaluation, priority is given to the own innovations of business entities that will contribute to the development of a new product, service or process in the market, have a wider social benefit compared to the procurement of a ready-made innovative solution of a product or technology.
